With this in mind, Sparta has initiated the process of developing a new city-wide Comprehensive Plan that outlines goals for the future and establishes the foundation for growth and development over the next 10-20 years.
Comprehensive Plans serve as a long-term guide for the community, addressing decisions for a variety of planning topics related to economic development, housing, parks and recreation, transportation, employment, tourism, business attraction, and more. Since every Comprehensive Plan is unique to the community it represents, it’s essential to include all members of the community, from residents and visitors to business owners and the workforce, in the planning process!
